Flat Repair Demo — Thurs. October 3rd 7-8pm
Box Dog Bikes and The Missing Link Bicycle Cooperative are working together to provide a bike flat repair demo at the Rainbow Co-op Fair. The free class will cover how to prevent bike flats from happening, and how to repair them if they do. Anyone can get a flat, but there’s no reason a flat tire means the end of your ride. Bike tools will be provided for the demonstration. Bring your bike or a wheel to practice on.

Non-toxic house cleaning class taught by Home Green Home, A Different Kind of Cleaning Company! – Thurs. October 17th, 5-6pm
The class will be taught in Spanish & English with English Translation provided. Home Green Home is a worker-owned natural cleaning cooperative, founded in partnership with Wages and Seventh Generation. Their worker-owners participate jointly in key business decisions and share profits as a worker cooperative. Their goal is to support their families and to be economically self-sufficient while providing clients with high-quality service.
Most house cleaning companies use cleaning products which contain hazardous chemicals that threaten your family’s health, the health of your housecleaner, and the health of the environment. For this reason, Home Green Home choose only safe, non-toxic cleaning options. The products they use are made by Seventh Generation (a key partner), Bon Ami, Dr. Bronner and simple household cleaners such as vinegar.
