Sama Sama/Together

The Trainor Alley Mural is one of three San Francisco murals created as part of the Sama-Sama/Together project. The Rainbow site is the only mural that is the direct result of the collaboration between local U.S. artists and the Indonesian artist collective, Apotik Komik. Alicia McCarthy, from our produce department contributed to bringing the project here to Rainbow as well as the creation of the mural. The project garnered the 2004 Precita Eyes International Mural Award
