Applying Principals of Permaculture in your Fall Garden
Presented by Asha Vitlacil, Rhizome Urban Gardens
An introduction to the principles of Permaculture, and how to apply them as you plant for the fall/winter season in urban spaces. What are the principles of Permaculture, and how can I apply them with limited space? What can I plant this time of year? What can I grow on my rooftop/fire escape/windowsill? This participatory workshop draws on the knowledge of the group as well as presenter.
Rhizome Urban Gardens is a worker-owned cooperative that designs, installs, and maintains organic gardens and landscapes. Through creating landscapes that are beautiful, ecologically sound, and producing food, they can transform any space into an oasis!
